About HeatSeeker Thermal Drones

Experience, Technology & a Different View From Above

HeatSeeker Thermal Drones combines practical field experience, professional thermal imaging and enterprise drone technology to help locate, inspect, document and understand what is difficult to see from the ground.

Who I am

Built From Real-World Experience

A Practical Approach

HeatSeeker is built around solving real problems from the air. Sometimes that means finding a deer after the blood trail disappears. Other times it means searching for a lost pet, counting wildlife, inspecting a roof or documenting a property.

The mission changes, but the approach stays the same: use the right sensor, gather useful information and provide the customer with clear results.

What sets HeatSeeker apart

More Than Just Flying a Drone

1

Thermal Experience

Understanding what a heat signature means—and what can interfere with it—is just as important as having a thermal camera. Weather, vegetation, terrain, distance and viewing angle all matter.

2

Professional Equipment

HeatSeeker operates the DJI Matrice 4T, an enterprise thermal platform designed for professional search, inspection and public-safety style operations.

3

Local Service

HeatSeeker is based in Meade County and serves surrounding Kentucky communities with mobile on-location drone services.

Professional platform

DJI Matrice 4T Thermal Technology

The Matrice 4T combines thermal imaging, multiple visible-light cameras, telephoto capability, night-operation tools and laser rangefinding in one compact enterprise platform.

Thermal Imaging

640 × 512

Native thermal resolution, with higher-resolution thermal output available when Super Resolution is enabled. This makes the platform useful for wildlife searches, inspections and other missions where temperature differences matter.

Three Visible Cameras

48 MP

Wide, medium-telephoto and telephoto cameras provide multiple perspectives for identifying, verifying and documenting a target after it is detected.

Laser Rangefinder

Up to 1,800 m

The onboard laser rangefinder can measure the distance to a target and, together with the aircraft's positioning system, help provide precise GPS coordinates for a point of interest on the ground.

Night & Low-Light Capability

The Matrice 4T includes thermal imaging and additional night-operation tools that make it effective when visible-light conditions are limited.

Finding something is only part of the mission.

Once a target is identified, visible cameras, zoom capability and the laser rangefinder help verify what is being seen and determine where it is located on the ground.

How I work

Useful Information, Not Just Pretty Pictures

Plan the Mission

Every job starts with understanding what you are trying to find or accomplish, where the work will take place and what conditions may affect the operation.

Use the Right Sensor

Thermal, wide-angle, telephoto and laser rangefinding tools are used based on the mission instead of relying on a single camera view.

Verify What We Find

Heat signatures are examined from multiple angles and, when possible, confirmed using visible-light cameras before conclusions are made.

Provide Actionable Results

Depending on the job, that may include GPS coordinates, thermal and visible images, video, observations, or other mission-specific information.
